Scholarships

The Twenty Pearls Heritage Foundation is based in Santa Monica, CA and awards scholarship funds to students within Southern California who are graduating from high school and Santa Monica Community College, students attending a Historically Black College and University (HBCU), foster youth pursing a college degree, Master of Social Work graduate students, and students enrolled in diverse graduate programs.

In partnership with the Tau Tau Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated®, the Twenty Pearls Heritage Foundation has proudly awarded over $95,000 in scholarships and charitable contributions over the past 17 years to students demonstrating academic achievement, financial need, and a dedication to community service.

High School Scholarship

Applicant must be currently enrolled in high school in Los Angeles County and enrolled at an accredited four-year college or university in the Fall of 2025.

Applicant must also have a minimum grade point average of 2.5.

Foster Youth Scholarship

Applicant must be enrolled at an accredited community college, or four-year university in the Fall of 2025 and must have a minimum grade point average of 2.5.

Applicant must also be a current or former foster youth.

Grad School Scholarship

Applicant must be enrolled at an accredited graduate program in the Fall of2025 and must have a minimum grade point average of 2.5.

HBCU Scholarship

Applicant must be I) currently enrolled at an accredited Historically Black College or University (HBCU) in the Fall of2025; 2) be from Southern California; and 3) have a minimum grade point average of 2.5.

SMC Scholarship
